Upon hearing of the in-store appearances for the first time, singer Oderus Urungus muttered: "This is a great chance for the the fans to come out, get slapped around and maybe even vomited on. Afterwards, and during, we shall loot the store of all its products, go through the pockets of the dead, and force their corpses to have sex with animals. All in the name of good music!"
As previously reported, GWAR will perform the brand new song "Zombies, March!" on the Thursday, October 28 edition of NBC-TV's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon". The show will air at 12:35 a.m. ET (technically early Friday morning, October 29).
Fangoria has announced that it is working with GWAR on the video for "Zombies, March!". The clip is being shot in Richmond, Virginia with Fangoria's own David McKendry.
"Bloody Pit of Horror" is reportedly "heavy as fuck", and features songs like "Hail to Genocide", "Storm is Coming", and "Tick-Tits", the latter of which is "a song about a chick whose tits are covered in ticks…big fat gray puffy ones," said Oderus.
